Chindia Alert: You’ll be Living in their World Very Soon

aims to alert you to the threats and opportunities that China and India present. China and India require serious attention; case of ‘hidden dragon and crouching tiger’.

Without this attention, governments, businesses and, indeed, individuals may find themselves at a great disadvantage sooner rather than later.

The POSTs (front webpages) are mainly 'cuttings' from reliable sources, updated continuously.

The PAGEs (see Tabs, above) attempt to make the information more meaningful by putting some structure to the information we have researched and assembled since 2006.

@Leon – my ‘worst case’ scenario is the disintegration of China into those six entities. But, admittedly, most unlikely.

What is your ‘best case’ scenario? And how realistic would that be?

  I think the… lets call them ‘entities’ would benefit from uniformity. Mixed systems cause so many problems as we see with the EU. Of course I would love to see China completely unified under a multi-party democracy but I can’t see that happening. I think the worst case scenario would be mixed systems with main China remaining a single party something.

      @Leon – in my personal opinion, the ‘best’ outcome – one day – will be Greater China: “one nation, six systems”: main (CPC), Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Tibet and Xinjiang. The first system – single-party people’s dictatorship, the next three – multi-party democracies, and the last two – theocracies.
